Notes, Comp Tickets, etc...

NOTE: Reply so that I know you received this.

A few things...

Remember to park behind the theatre (or rather, behind the red brick building beside the theatre, I can't recall what it's called). The backstage door will be unlocked for you to enter through the back of the theatre.

Attached is a flyer like the one I brought to STG last night. Andrea (Sage's Mom) put them together. Please print them out and use them as flyers. You can also use them as postcards. People like it when you sign them and/or write personal notes on them.

I sent you a link to the sound effects. If you have lines in or around the sound effects you really need to use these to practice. Speaking of, Coleman and Lily, if you could arrive and get dressed asap tomorrow, we can go over your lines and incorporate the sound effects. The key to this, though, is that you have to really know your lines, so, please look over them as much as you can between now and then (you know, in all of your spare time - ha ha).

Folks, you really need to put your names on the waters you drink and only get out one water each time, unless you finish your water and then you may get another. There's just no need to waste it.

If I come backstage and have to pick up empty or partially eaten food wrappers again...no one will be allowed to eat backstage again. When you're done, throw it away. There are trashcans nearly everywhere backstage. Also, don't put anything into your mouth if you have to return to the stage. You can't hide it, it's very apparent when you're still eating while you're onstage. Until then, if any of you parents out there would like to provide some kind of spill-proof, easy to manage and/or maintain snack for everyone, please feel free. Let's try to stick with the more healthy snacks, though, please.

Kiddos, I realize that there are several times when you aren't onstage and sometimes for extended periods of time. I'm sorry, but that's just how the show was written. For these times, we have asked to have at least one parent backstage. These wonderful individuals are there to help you if you need it and to watch over you. Please be kind and courteous to them and treat them with utmost respect. If they ask you to be quiet, be quiet. If you aren't supposed to be onstage or soon to be onstage, there is no reason you shouldn't be with the others. Some great activities for when you're backstage include: running lines, doing homework, and so on. I shouldn't get a report at the end of the night that you were anything but the perfect, wonderful, amazing kids that I know you are!

Finally, Comp Tickets:

COMP TICKET PROCEDURE

Cast & Crew will receive TWO (2) complimentary passes for use the FIRST weekend of the show in which they are participating.

The cast/crew member is to give the pass to whomever they want to use it and that person is to make a reservation**. Box Office is now open.

If a production is sold out, a person paying cash for a ticket will be sold a seat before a person using a complimentary pass, if no advance reservation has been made.

The pass is the same as cash. It is NOT transferable and will NOT be replaced.

When a pass is used it is cross-referenced to the cast/crew list to verify accuracy.

Comp passes are tallied separately from other comp tickets so that we can better track their use and impact on attendance.
